Anatas CM iconAnatasCM

is a contextual menu plug-in that converts text 3DMF files to binary form and vice versa.


Both Anatas and AnatasCM are available in English, and German.

Requirements

Anatas 1.3 requires a PowerPC (PPC) based Mac running Mac OS 7.5.1 or higher (or Classic Environment, a Mac OS 9 compatibility layer for Mac OS X 10.0 – 10.4), and QuickDraw 3D extension 1.6.

AnatasCM 1.3 requires a PowerPC (PPC) based Mac running Mac OS 8 or higher, and QuickDraw 3D extension 1.6.

Both Anatas and AnatasCM try to convert all files with file-type “3DMF” or “sDMF” (3DMF stationary). For all other file types one of the following filename extensions is required (ignoring case): “.3dmf”, “.3dm”, “.qd3d”, or “.qd3”

How to use Anatas

Select the files you want to convert. Drag them onto the Anatas icon. All the files created will be in the same folder as the original files with T (text) or B (binary) added before the filename extension. Anatas does never delete an existing file.

You also can drag folders and volumes onto the icon. Anatas searches for 3DMF files and converts these files.

Anatas is scriptable and recordable using Apple Script. Only successfully converted files will be recorded.

Anatas quits after finishing its work. Press command . or <escape> (esc) to quit Anatas during searching or converting operations.

How to use AnatasCM

Select the files you want to convert. Press <control> (ctrl) and select “Convert 3DMF” from the contextual menu. All the files created will be in the same folder as the original files with T (text) or B (binary) added before the filename extension. AnatasCM does never delete an existing file.

Press command . or <escape> (esc) to quit AnatasCM during converting operations.
